Why we started
Good ideas should not stop at the knowledge gap
Many new filmmakers know the feeling, story, or moment they want to create, but not yet the language of framing, camera angles, movement, and shot planning. Independent filmmakers can face the same problem from another direction: the expertise is valuable, but specialist production resources are limited.
We started Story2Board to help close that gap. The goal is not to replace the director. It is to give more creators a knowledgeable co-director that can make film concepts understandable, discuss decisions, and help turn an idea into a plan for the screen.

AI can explain options and carry out approved decisions. Creative control stays with the person making the film.

Film language should be explained in plain English so a strong idea is not blocked by unfamiliar terminology.
